Katherine Chi
Pianist Katherine Chi is one of Canada's fastest rising stars of classical music. First Laureate
of the 2000 Honens International Piano Competition, and prize winner at the 1998 Busoni International Piano Competition, Chi gave her debut recital at age nine. A year later she was accepted to The Curtis Institute of Music where she studied with Seymour Lipkin. She continued studies with Russell Sherman and Wha-Kyung Byun at the New England Conservatory in Boston, where she received her Master's degree and Graduate and Artist Diplomas. She later studied for two years at the International Piano Foundation in Como, Italy, and with
Vassily Lobanov at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne.
Katherine Chi has appeared in countries across Europe and North America in recital, with chamber groups and with orchestras, including the
Philadelphia, Calgary Philharmonic, Manitoba Chamber, Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra, Seoul I Musici Chamber and the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, and at festivals including Marlboro, the Osnabrück
Kammermusik Festival, the Santander Summer Music Festival, Canada's Festival of the Sound, Festival Vancouver, and Germany’s Ruhr Festival. This season Chi performed in recital at the Detroit Institute of Arts, with
Montreal Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Jonathan Crow as part of the CBC/McGill Concert Series in Montreal, for Toronto's prestigious Women's Musical Club, premiered a new Gunther Schuller composition with cellist
Laurence Lesser in Boston, made a repeat performance at the San Diego Museum of Art, and made recital debuts in Hannover Germany, and in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
She makes her debuts with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the CBC Radio Orchestra in Vancouver later this year

Inga Fiolia
wurde 1983 in einer Musikerfamilie in Tbilissi
(Georgien) geboren.
Bereits
seit ihrem vierten Lebensjahr bekommt Inga
Musikunterricht von ihrer Großmutter. Mit 6 besuchte sie
das Musikgymnasium des Staatlichen Konservatorium
Tbilissi/Georgien. Ab ihrem 12. Lebensjahr wechselte
sie nach Moskau/Russland zur Zentralen
Spezialisierten Musikschule des Moskauer Staatlichen
Tschaikowski Konservatorium, die Sie 2000 erfolgreich
bei Prof. Alexey Nasedkin, den Volkskünstler Russlands
abgeschlossen hat. Ihr Studium der Künstlerischen
Instrumentalausbildung mit Hauptfach Klavier machte Inga
2001-2007 an der Hochschule für Musik Köln bei Professor
Vassily Lobanov. Derzeit macht sie dort
Aufbaustudium Konzertexamen.
Sie hat

Musikleben" unter der Schirmherrschaft des
Bundespräsidenten.
2005 bekam
sie Stipendium der Internationaler Dauner Meisterkursen.
2005 wurde
Stipendiatin der Musikstiftung, Köln.
2007
Stipendium der Internationaler Kammermusikwochen,
Thüringen.
Seit 7.
Lebensjahr spielt Inga mit Orchestern.
Mit 7
debütierte sie im Konservatorium Tbilissi mit
Staatlichen Kammerorchester Georgiens. Als Solistin
spielte Sie u.a. mit Brüsseler Philharmoniker, mit dem
Gouvernements Symphonie Orchester Jaroslaws in Russland,
Staatlichen Kammerorchester Georgiens, Staatlicher
Symphonie Orchester Georgiens, Aachener Studenten
Orchester.
Als
Solistin trat Sie in Georgien, Russland, Deutschland,
Italien, Belgien, Spanien, Frankreich, Japan auf u.a.
in Moskauer Tschaikowski Konservatorium, Glinka
Staatsmuseum Moskau, Staatskonservatorium Tbilissi,
Philharmonie Tbilissi, Philharmonie Jaroslavl
(Russland), Mirabell Schloss in Salzburg, Konzertsaal
des Brüsseler Konservatoriums und Bechstein Centrum
Köln.
Zusammenarbeit mit Mietgliedern des Minguett Quartetts
während der Internationaler Kammermusikwochen,
Thüringen.
Viele
erfolgreiche Recitals spielte sie in Deutschland. Sie
widmet sich auch der Kammermusik, Begleitung, Neuer
Musik und Neuer Musik Improvisation bei Paulo Alvares
WDR, Köln.
Durch
Meisterkurse bei Rudolf Kehrer (Wien), Dmitri
Bashkirov (Salzburg), Anne Queffelec (Paris), Sergey
Babayan (Armenien), A. Yablonskaya (USA), H. Nakamura
(Japan), Sequeira Costa (Portugal), P. Rattalino
(Italien) und den Kammermusikmeisterkurs bei Eduard
Brunner und Minguett Quartett vertiefte sie Ihre
musikalische Ausbildung.

Rostislav Krimer
was born in 1980 in Brest (Belarus). In the age of 5 he started to study piano at the Music School of his native town. After he graduated from it in 1993 he
was invited to continue study at the State College by the Academy of Music in Minsk (Belarus) in the class of National Artist of Belarus , Prof .Igor Olovnikov . In the year 1997 Rostislav graduated and became a
student of Prof. Jussi Siirala at the Sibelius-Academy in Helsinki (Finland). From 1999 he is a master student of Prof. Vassily Lobanov at the Hochschule fur Musik Koln (Germany).
Rostislav Krimer was a
finalist at the International Zvetaeva Piano Competition in Belarus in 1994, also winning the award for the Best Interpretation of a Contemporary Composition. In 1996 he won the Third Prize at the International F.
Chopin Competition for Young Pianists in Poland. In 1998 he was awarded a stipendium for gifted young people by the President of Belarus. In 1999 he won the First Prize at the International N. Rubinstein Piano
Competition in Paris. In 2001 Rostislav became a semifinalist at the Scottish International Piano Competition in Glasgow and was awarded a Morison Bishop Prize. In 2002 Krimer was awarded ”Entdeckung des Jahres”
Prize at the International Malinin Festival.
He has performed recitals in Belarus, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Holland, Finland and the UK. Among the Halls in which he has played are Beethoven Haus (Bonn,
Germany) Mikaeli Hall (Mikkeli, Finland), Big and Chamber Halls of Musiikkikeskus (Kuopio, Finland), Big Hall of Belarusian State Philharmonic (Minsk, Belarus), Big Hall of Sibelius-Academy (Helsinki), Mirabell
Schloss (Salzburg), Yamaha Centre (Paris), Saal Cortot (Paris), Sibelius Hall in Lahti and others. Rostislav has played with Belarusian State Philharmonic Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra.

Kanade Joho
Die Pianistin Kanade Joho wurde in Tokio geboren.
Sie studierte an der TOHO GAKUEN Musikhochschule bei Prof.Seiko Seki, Shuku Iwasaki seit 1990 bis1999.Seit April 2000
studiert sie an der Hochschule für Musik in Köln bei Prof. Vassily Lobanov.
Preisen:
Zweiten Preis beim Chopin internationaler Klavierwettbewerb in ASIA (2001, Ersten Preis nicht vergeben), Zweiten Preis beim
Viotti Valsesia Internationalerwettbewerb (2002, Ersten Preis nicht vergeben), und Dritten Preis beim Silvio Omizzolo internationaler Kammermusikwettbewerb (2003).
Sie spielte viele Konzerte in Deutschland, Österreich,
Holland, Italien, Frankreich, und Japan, auch mit Orchestern: Krakow State Philharmony (2001), Polnischen National Rundfunkorchester (2001), Staatphilharmony Riga (2003).
Sie wurde auch als Solistin beim 'Young Prague International Music Festival' in Czech im Sommer 2003 eingeladen.
